Customised frame parts courtesy of The Bicycle Academy. Wheels and saddle Strider Bikes
Forks for 12in wheels. Only way I could think to do these forks was to make them to match a full size drawing
Amazingly they fit into the fork jig. Home made V brake boss fixture serves as stabilising clamp for tacking, then brazed outside of the jig
Finished fork. Not brilliant, but my first fillet brazed effort
Below, dummy bottom bracket and seat tube assembly to adapt frame to jig
Main frame components ready to tack.
Main tube assembly complete
Back to full size drawings to set the rear dropouts
Rear chain stays in jig for tacking
Rear chain stays brazed after tacking
Handlebar cut out to attach home made steerer collar
Handlebar brazed on heat sink tube
2017, Two years on still good enough to refurbish for the next one!

Hi. Are those forks 4130?
Probably! Though they could be 25CrMo4 such as Columbus Thron or Gara. The components were from the Bicycle Academy and was the preprepared set they used on their course. The only thing I can remember for certain is the main downtube was T45.
