Headbadges are maybe old fashioned now but still liked by custom framebuilders. there are makers in the USA who produce them in silver at a price. I managed to find Geoff Moorhouse by word of mouth though he does have a presence on the web if you can find him. He casts badges out of Pewter to your design and he produced some for me (though my design skills are pretty poor) at a very reasonable price. The finished product is on the thick side due to the method but I have now started thinning them down by sanding on a 38mm sanding drum. A thick badge tends to suit some bikes and not others? They were delivered with some care instructions and thin double sided tape which has so far worked fine. See his work at https://www.facebook.com/headbadgeUK or see the framebuilding related resources page links.
